The term Ayurveda is obtained from the Sanskrit words Ayur (life) and Veda (knowledge or science). Therefore, in simple terms, Ayurveda can be translated as the knowledge of life. Constructed on the knowledge that disease is due to inequity or stress in a person’s consciousness, Ayurveda invigorates certain lifestyle involvements and natural therapies to re-establish a balance between the body, spirit, mind, and mother nature.
